Chapter 9 - The Extraction

The doctor’s horrifying confession echoed in Hannah’s mind like a physical blow to her skull.

The Morettis had intentionally murdered her beloved father just to manipulate her into donating her rare biology.

A profound, blinding rage completely replaced the paralyzing fear inside her heart.

She began to struggle violently against the heavy leather restraints, screaming furiously at the corrupt surgeon.

The doctor simply sighed, filling a massive syringe with a heavy, milky sedative to knock her out.

Just as he raised the needle toward her IV line, the armored van violently swerved off the road.

A deafening crash shattered the back doors as a heavy reinforced truck rammed them from behind.

The impact sent the corrupt doctor flying across the sterile cabin, his syringe shattering against the metal wall.

The back doors of the van were violently ripped completely open by a motorized winch.

Standing in the pouring rain, heavily bandaged and holding an automatic rifle, was Dominic Vale.

He had not stayed on the warehouse floor to bleed out like Vincent had ordered.

Dominic coldly executed the two armed guards in the back of the van with terrifying, flawless precision.

He climbed inside, using a bloody tactical knife to quickly slice through Hannah’s thick leather restraints.

He pulled her into a fierce, desperate embrace, completely ignoring the intense pain from his gunshot wound.

He whispered that he would never let anyone take the mother of his children away from him.

Hannah clung to him, the tears she had held back finally spilling over her cheeks.

But the emotional moment was completely shattered by the sound of approaching sirens and heavily armed backup.

They were currently parked in the main courtyard of the heavily fortified Moretti private hospital compound.

Dominic handed her a loaded pistol, his dark eyes entirely devoid of any mercy.

He stated that they were going to finish this war right now, once and for all.

They fought their way through the pristine, white hallways of the illegal medical facility.

Dominic moved like a lethal shadow, dropping every single mercenary that dared to cross their path.

They finally kicked open the double doors of the main executive operating theater.

Vincent Moretti was standing in the center of the room, looking completely cornered and desperate.

But the old mafia boss was not alone.

He was holding a heavy silver revolver directly against the temple of a terrified, weeping teenage boy.

It was his own dying son, the heir he had supposedly sacrificed everything to save.
