Chapter 19 - The Execution Dock

The abandoned shipyards on Pier 4 were entirely pitch black, completely isolated from the glittering, massive skyline of the city.

The freezing rain had finally stopped, leaving a heavy, dense layer of chilling fog aggressively rolling off the dark, churning ocean.

Jax stood silently by my side, heavily armed and completely prepared to defend me against any final, desperate tricks Omar might have arranged.

The heavy, rhythmic chopping of helicopter blades suddenly shattered the quiet, eerie silence of the docks.

Julian’s hijacked black helicopter descended rapidly out of the thick fog, landing heavily on the cracked, weed-infested concrete of the pier.

The side door violently slid open, and Julian stepped smoothly out into the damp air, dragging the unconscious, heavily bound body of Sheikh Omar Al-Rashid behind him.

Julian dumped the arrogant billionaire unceremoniously onto the wet, freezing concrete right at my feet.

Omar groaned weakly, his dark eyes fluttering open as the freezing cold aggressively shocked him entirely awake.

He looked up at me, his expensive white suit completely ruined, heavily stained with dark oil and his own blood.

"You have absolutely no idea what you are doing, Mara," Omar rasped, desperately trying to project a facade of remaining power.

"If I disappear, my global syndicate will completely tear this city apart to find me, and they will burn your hospital entirely to the ground."

I crouched down slowly, looking directly, deeply into the terrified eyes of the monster who had mercilessly enslaved my father.

"Your syndicate no longer exists, Omar," I stated with absolute, unwavering, and deeply cold authority.

I pulled my encrypted digital tablet from my jacket, showing him the live, heavily scrolling code of a massive, global financial transfer.

While Julian was securing the helicopter, I had utilized the backdoor administrative access codes my father had secretly hidden inside Project Genesis's vault.

I had successfully breached Omar’s deeply hidden, heavily encrypted offshore banking network.

"I completely drained your accounts, Omar. Every single billion, every hidden asset, and every dirty shell company has been entirely vaporized," I explained smoothly.

Omar stared at the glowing screen in absolute, unfiltered horror, completely realizing that his immense, terrifying power was entirely gone.

He was no longer a royal billionaire; he was simply a broke, utterly defeated man kneeling in the mud.

"What are you going to do to me?" Omar whispered, his voice completely broken and deeply pathetic.

Julian stepped forward, drawing his heavy, suppressed tactical pistol and aiming it squarely at the back of Omar’s head.

"I am going to put a bullet exactly where it belongs, and I am going to drop your body into the darkest trench in this ocean," Julian stated with a fierce, lethal growl.

I raised my hand aggressively, completely stopping Julian before he could pull the heavy trigger.

"Death is entirely too quick, and far too merciful for a man who thrives on absolute control," I commanded quietly.

I pulled a small, heavy silver syringe from my pocket, filled with a highly modified, deeply diluted version of Project Genesis.

"My father designed this specific variant to completely paralyze the voluntary motor functions without affecting the mind," I explained, holding the glowing liquid up to the moonlight.

Omar screamed in pure, unadulterated terror as Jax stepped aggressively forward and violently pinned the billionaire's heavy arms to the concrete.

I injected the freezing, silver liquid directly into Omar’s neck, watching with cold, deeply satisfying precision as his body instantly, completely locked into rigid, permanent paralysis.

His eyes were wide open, fully conscious and completely aware, but he would absolutely never move, speak, or control his own destiny ever again.

"Jax, deliver the package to the darkest, most heavily secured subterranean wing of our psychiatric ward," I ordered smoothly.

"He will spend the rest of his natural life as a completely anonymous, entirely paralyzed patient in the exact hospital he tried to destroy."
