Chapter 6 - The Warehouse

Lily knew she could not go to Victor empty-handed while his son was missing.
She had to find Ethan first.
She noticed the strange man in the video was wearing a jacket with a distinct logo.
It was the emblem of a notorious smuggling ring operating down by the docks.
Lily tore a piece of fabric from her shirt to bandage her bleeding shoulder.
She snuck out the bedroom window and climbed down the thick ivy vines.
She slipped into the massive underground garage.
She found the keys sitting on the dashboard of a sleek black sports car.
She started the engine and sped out into the rainy Chicago night.
She drove recklessly toward the abandoned shipyard on the east side of the city.
The docks were eerily quiet, illuminated only by flickering streetlights.
She parked the car behind a rusted shipping container.
She crept toward a large warehouse with dim lights shining through the cracks.
She peered through a dirty glass window.
Her heart completely stopped at the sight inside.
Ethan was crying inside a small wooden crate in the corner.
But that wasn't what terrified her.
Victor Blackwood was tied to a steel chair in the center of the room.
May you like
He was bleeding heavily from his face.
Serena was standing right in front of him, holding a loaded gun.
