Chapter 1 - The Crimson Stain

The oceanfront luxury hotel ballroom shimmered with crystal chandeliers and expensive champagne.

Executive smiles filled the massive room as soft orchestra music played in the background.

Sarah stood quietly near the main VIP tables, wearing a stunning white silk dress.

She looked completely out of place among the ruthless billionaires and corporate sharks.

Suddenly, absolute humiliation struck in the very first second of the prestigious gala.

A heavy splash of red wine exploded violently across Sarah’s pristine white silk dress.

The dark liquid stained the delicate fabric crimson from her shoulder all the way down to her waist.

Loud gasps rippled through the elegant crowd of high society elites.

Crystal glasses froze midair as the wealthy guests turned to watch the disastrous scene unfold.

Cynthia stood right beside her with a smug, wicked smile on her heavily contoured face.

The arrogant woman lazily held an empty wine glass in her manicured hand.

"Oops," Cynthia sneered, making absolutely no effort to hide her cruel amusement.

Julian laughed coldly from his seat at the head of the executive table.

He picked up a stack of white cocktail napkins and tossed them aggressively at Sarah’s chest.

"Clean it," Julian ordered, treating her like a worthless, replaceable servant.

The soft orchestra music continued to play for one more painful, agonizing beat.

Then, the entire room began to sense something drastically changing in the heavy atmosphere.

Sarah slowly looked down at the crumpled napkins scattered across her ruined dress.

She calmly bent her knees and picked them up one by one.

Everyone in the room fully expected her to run away in tears of shame.

Instead, she let the napkins fall right back down to the cold marble floor.

"No," Sarah said softly, but her voice carried a terrifying, unyielding weight.

She turned her back on Julian and marched straight toward the executive stage to end his reign.
