Dante skidded the motorcycle to a violent halt outside the heavily armored bank building.
He sprinted through the shattered glass doors and found the lobby littered with dead Palermo mercenaries.
His heart hammered in his chest as he ran down the marble stairs toward the underground vault.
The heavy steel door was still perfectly sealed and his loyal guards were battered but alive.
Dante punched in the security code and the massive vault door hissed open with a loud mechanical groan.
Sarah and the twins were huddled in the corner completely terrified but entirely unharmed.
Mia and Bella ran across the room and threw their tiny arms around their father's neck.
Dante dropped to his knees and wept openly as he held his daughters against his chest.
He looked up at Sarah and thanked her for keeping them safe through the darkest night of their lives.
The shadow syndicate was completely destroyed and his evil father was finally dead for good.
They returned to the penthouse estate to begin a new life free from the ghosts of the past.
The storm had finally broken and the morning sun cast a warm golden light across the city.
Dante felt a profound sense of peace as he watched Sarah reading a book to the twins in the living room.

The phone belonged to Arthur the traitorous butler and it was currently vibrating with an incoming call.
Dante picked up the plastic device and pressed it slowly against his ear.
A woman's voice spoke from the other end and she was humming the exact Palermo folk song.
The humming stopped and Isabella's unmistakable voice whispered softly into the receiver.
She told Dante that killing his father was exactly what she needed him to do.
