Chapter 6 - The Penthouse Breach

Griffin stared at the empty hospital bed with a feeling of absolute terror.

He immediately activated the GPS tracking microchips embedded in his bodyguards' radios.

The signal showed that the kidnappers were heading toward the industrial shipping docks.

Griffin rallied a heavily armed team of private mercenaries and sped across the city.

He knew Victor was planning to smuggle Sloan and the twins out of the country on a cargo ship.

The rain poured heavily as Griffin's tactical vehicles smashed through the locked gates of the shipping yard.

Gunfire immediately erupted from the shadows as Victor's hired thugs tried to defend the area.

Griffin ducked behind a metal shipping container, returning fire with ruthless precision.

He refused to let the man who destroyed his family win this war.

Griffin's mercenaries overwhelmed the guards and pushed deeper into the maze of metal crates.

They found Victor standing on the edge of a massive dock, holding a terrifying weapon.

Victor had Sloan tied to a chair, still unconscious and desperately needing the antidote.

The twins were locked inside a steel cage dangling precariously over the freezing ocean water.

"Drop your weapons, Griffin, or I press this button and the cage drops," Victor threatened with a maniacal smile.

Griffin immediately ordered his men to lower their guns, raising his own hands in surrender.

"Let the girls go, Victor," Griffin pleaded, taking a slow step forward.

"I want you to sign over your entire company right now," Victor demanded, tossing a digital tablet onto the ground.

Griffin didn't hesitate for a single second to save his family.

He picked up the tablet and quickly signed away billions of dollars in assets.

"Now give her the antidote," Griffin demanded, holding out the blue vial.

Victor laughed cruelly and pressed the remote button in his hand anyway.

The heavy steel cables snapped violently, and the cage holding the twins plunged toward the dark, freezing water.

Without thinking, Griffin dove off the edge of the massive dock.
