Chapter 4 - The Inside Ally
I twisted violently, fully expecting to see one of Julian's corrupt security guards.
Instead, I found myself staring into the terrified eyes of a young surgical nurse.
She quickly pulled her hand away from my mouth and pressed a finger to her own lips.
"My name is Sarah, and I know exactly what he does to those poor women," she whispered shakily.
I let out a massive breath of relief and grabbed her shoulders.
"He is trying to murder my daughter today, and I have to stop him," I told her fiercely.
Sarah nodded, her eyes welling up with fearful tears.
"He moved her into Operating Room Four, and he dismissed all the standard surgical staff," she explained.
"He brought in his own private anesthesiologist, Dr. Vance, who helps him cover up the deaths."
Sarah pulled me quickly into an empty supply closet and handed me a set of green hospital scrubs.
I quickly changed into the disguise and tied a blue surgical mask tightly over my face.
"I will get you inside the room, but you have to promise me you will ruin him," Sarah pleaded.
"I am going to burn his entire life to the ground," I promised her coldly.
We stepped out of the closet and walked briskly down the sterile white hallway toward the double doors of OR Four.

Just as Sarah swiped her security badge against the electronic reader, a loud alarm blared overhead.
Every single light in the surgical wing instantly went completely black.
