I dropped to my knees as I stared through the glass.
The little boy had the exact same hair and eyes as Leah.
Damian's father stood up and smiled a terrible smile.
He explained that the fertility treatments I received years ago were funded by his shell corporation.
He said I was carrying twins the entire time.
He bribed the doctors to blindfold me during the ultrasound and steal both children at birth.
He used the female twin as a pawn to control Damian.
He kept the male twin here to mold him into the perfect heir.
Damian raised his weapon and aimed it directly at his father's chest.
He demanded the release codes for the glass door.
His father laughed and said the glass was bulletproof.
He held up a small remote detonator.
He said the room was rigged with explosives.
He told Damian he had to choose which child to save.
