My blood ran entirely cold as I stared at the back of his head.

Reyes pulled the vehicle into a heavily fortified underground bunker disguised as an old parking garage.
He opened the trunk and pulled out a scorched metal lockbox retrieved from my floorboards.
He told me that my mother had sold her soul to this corporation in exchange for the two million dollars.
Suddenly, the concrete walls of the bunker shook with a deafening explosion.
