Chapter 6 - The Siege

Sparks showered onto the concrete floor as the plasma torch sliced through the heavy door.

Rocco grabbed an assault rifle from the weapons rack and checked the magazine.

"Take Noah and get to the roof," Rocco ordered Victoria, his voice leaving no room for argument.

She scooped up the sleeping child and scrambled up the rusted iron spiral staircase.

Leo stood beside Rocco, racking a shotgun and aiming directly at the melting steel.

"It's been an honor, boss," Leo said quietly, bracing for the inevitable assault.

The heavy door suddenly blew inward with a deafening crash, kicking up a cloud of dust.

Tactical mercenaries flooded into the room, armed with automatic weapons and laser sights.

Rocco and Leo opened fire instantly, dropping the first wave of attackers in a hail of bullets.

The narrow space turned into a chaotic bloodbath of flashing muzzles and echoing gunshots.

Rocco moved with brutal efficiency, fighting like a father who had everything to lose.

But there were simply too many of them pouring through the breached entrance.

A bullet grazed Rocco's shoulder, spinning him backward against the metal workbench.

Leo took a heavy hit to the chest, his Kevlar vest saving his life but knocking him to the floor.

A tall figure stepped through the smoke, dressed in an immaculate white suit.

It was Marcus, holding a suppressed pistol and smiling with arrogant confidence.

"You always fought like a wild animal, Rocco, but this ends now," Marcus sneered.

Marcus aimed his weapon directly at Rocco's head, ready to end the rivalry once and for all.

Before he could pull the trigger, a red laser dot appeared perfectly in the center of Marcus's forehead.

"Drop the gun, little brother," a chilling, familiar voice echoed from the shadows of the warehouse.
