The shipping container violently lurched upward as a massive industrial crane began lifting it high into the air.
Sarah panicked entirely, realizing David was actually going to drop them directly into the deep, freezing harbor.
She grabbed a heavy metal crowbar she had found resting on the dirty floor of the container.
She climbed onto the stacked crates and swung the weapon fiercely at the rusted ventilation hatch.
Sparks flew wildly in the darkness as she smashed the heavy iron hinges with absolutely all her remaining strength.
The crane swung violently, knocking Logan off his feet and sending him tumbling roughly across the floor.
Sarah hit the hatch one final, desperate time, and the metal grate finally broke completely free.
She hoisted herself up through the narrow opening, feeling the freezing ocean wind whip aggressively against her face.
They were dangling hundreds of feet in the air, swinging dangerously over the dark, churning water below.
She reached down into the container and grabbed Logan firmly by his small, trembling arms.
She pulled him up onto the roof of the swaying container just as the crane's release mechanism loudly clicked.
The massive steel box began to plummet rapidly toward the unforgiving, dark ocean surface.
Sarah grabbed Logan tightly and leaped fiercely toward the adjacent, towering stack of stable cargo containers.
