Sarah screamed in absolute horror as her sister collapsed lifelessly onto the cold concrete floor.
She stared at her husband, her entire reality shattering violently into a million irreparable pieces.
David had completely faked his own death just to steal billions of dollars from a rival international crime syndicate.
He had ruthlessly used his own grieving wife and innocent child as the ultimate, disposable decoys.
"Where is my son, David?" Sarah growled, her intense fear instantly transforming into pure, unadulterated rage.
David smiled a cruel, sickening smile and casually gestured toward a large shipping container sitting in the corner.
"He is waiting for his private flight to a highly secure overseas facility," David replied without a single shred of empathy.
He demanded that Sarah immediately recite the twelve-word recovery phrase for the hidden cryptocurrency wallets.
Sarah knew that the exact second she gave him the codes, both she and Logan would be executed immediately.
She slowly raised her hands, pretending to completely surrender to his terrifying, violent demands.
"The codes are locked inside a secure safety deposit box at the downtown bank," Sarah lied convincingly.
David narrowed his icy eyes, clearly debating whether or not he should actually believe her story.
The radio on a nearby mercenary's shoulder suddenly crackled with a frantic, terrified voice.

A massive, deafening explosion instantly ripped through the front wall of the warehouse, throwing everyone violently to the ground.
