Chapter 7 - The Ravine Wreck

The incredibly violent impact completely shattered the passenger side windows and sent their car wildly spinning out of control.

Ethan desperately fought the steering wheel, trying frantically to keep the heavy vehicle safely on the dark mountain road.

The armored SUV aggressively rammed them a second time, forcefully pushing their completely ruined car directly toward the steep cliff edge.

With a terrifying, highly deafening crunch of bending metal, their car plummeted violently over the edge of the dark ravine.

They violently crashed heavily through thick pine trees and dense underbrush before slamming aggressively into the muddy canyon floor.

The airbags deployed instantly, completely filling the crushed, smoking cabin with thick, incredibly suffocating white dust.

Ethan groaned in severe agony, his head completely pounding and hot blood pouring heavily down his bruised forehead.

He instantly reached frantically across the console to check on Lily, crying tears of joy when he heard her soft whimpers.

He violently kicked his jammed door completely open and carefully pulled his terrified daughter entirely out of the smoking wreckage.

The freezing mountain air whipped aggressively around them as they stood completely alone in the bottom of the dark canyon.

Ethan knew they had to keep moving entirely away from the crash site before the leaking gasoline inevitably caught fire.

He scooped Lily into his aching arms and began painfully climbing entirely up the opposite side of the muddy, treacherous ravine.

As they struggled up the steep dirt hill, a highly intense, blinding spotlight suddenly illuminated them completely from above.

Nora stood perfectly at the very top of the cliff, coldly aiming a highly accurate, long-range hunting rifle entirely directly at them.

"You have absolutely nowhere left to hide, my incredibly stubborn husband," the wicked woman yelled entirely over the howling wind.

She violently pulled the heavy trigger, the incredibly loud gunshot echoing aggressively through the dark, completely empty mountains.

The heavy bullet violently grazed Ethan's shoulder, completely tearing entirely through his expensive suit jacket and searing his flesh.

He bit down incredibly hard on his lip to completely stop himself from screaming and violently terrifying his young child.
