Chapter 7 - The Mentor's Trap

Christopher felt a massive wave of immense relief wash over him as he saw his beloved mentor.
He quickly ushered Emily and Leo into the plush, heavily tinted back seat of the luxurious limousine.
Arthur poured them glasses of cold water and handed Christopher a clean, perfectly tailored spare suit.
"We only have twenty minutes before the board legally finalizes the hostile takeover," Arthur stated with deep concern.
Christopher quickly changed his ruined clothes, explaining the terrifying depth of Vivian's murderous betrayal.
"Her father is trying to steal my entire legacy using an army of heavily armed mercenaries," Christopher said angrily.
Arthur nodded slowly, his kind eyes suddenly turning incredibly cold and completely devoid of any emotion.
"I know exactly who her father is, Christopher," Arthur whispered in a chillingly quiet tone.
The automatic locks on the limousine doors suddenly engaged with a loud, terrifying, mechanical click.
A thick, bulletproof glass partition rapidly slid up, completely sealing them in the back of the moving vehicle.
Arthur pressed a button on his intercom, speaking directly to the heavily armed driver in the front seat.
"Take them to the private incinerator at the docks, we are done playing games," Arthur commanded smoothly.
Christopher slammed his fists aggressively against the bulletproof glass in pure, unadulterated rage.
The man who had taught him absolutely everything about business was actually the master architect of this entire nightmare.
Arthur was Vivian's secretive father, and he had been meticulously planning this absolute betrayal for over a decade.
Emily frantically searched the luxurious cabin for anything they could possibly use to break the heavy glass.
She noticed a small, highly expensive bottle of vintage champagne chilling in a solid steel ice bucket.
"Wrap your jacket around your arm and protect your eyes," Emily shouted to her younger brother.
She grabbed the heavy steel bucket and began violently smashing it against the reinforced window of the moving car.
The glass spider-webbed, but it was far too thick to completely shatter from brute force alone.

Suddenly, the limousine slammed heavily on its brakes, throwing them all violently to the floorboards.
They looked out the window and saw a massive, heavily armed police barricade completely blocking the highway.
