Chapter 1 - The Billionaire's Wrath

Dominic laughed out loud at my sudden threat.
The sound echoed harshly against the sterile walls of the neonatal intensive care unit.
He genuinely believed I was bluffing to save my own shattered pride.
Natalie smirked and casually adjusted the collar of my stolen ivory cashmere coat.
"You really have lost your mind, Audrey," she whispered with malicious delight.
"There is no secret billionaire coming to save you today," Dominic added.
I remained completely silent while staring intently at the heavy double doors at the end of the hall.
I knew exactly what was about to happen.
Dominic picked up his signed divorce papers with a victorious, arrogant grin.
"Enjoy the homeless shelter," he sneered, turning his back to me and walking toward the exit.
Before he could take a single step, the ward doors violently burst open.
Six massive men dressed in immaculate black tactical suits marched into the room.
They formed an impenetrable, terrifying wall directly in front of my chair.
Dominic stumbled backward in absolute shock, nearly knocking over a medical tray.
A seventh man slowly walked through the parted line of towering guards.
Arthur Vanguard leaned heavily on a polished silver cane with an eagle head.
My grandfather wore a bespoke suit that cost more than Dominic's entire medical supply company.
"Who the hell are you?" Dominic demanded, his voice shaking visibly.
My grandfather did not even acknowledge his pathetic, trembling existence.
He looked gently at my fragile twins before turning his freezing gaze to my treacherous husband.
"I am the man who owns this entire medical facility," Arthur stated calmly.
Natalie gasped loudly, desperately hiding behind Dominic's shoulder.
"Throw them both out into the street immediately," my grandfather ordered his men.
Two towering guards grabbed Dominic violently by his tailored sleeves.
A third guard stepped forward and ripped my custom cashmere coat right off Natalie's back.
She shrieked in terror as the guard tossed the coat gently onto my lap.
Dominic struggled furiously against the crushing grip of the private security team.
"You cannot do this to me!" Dominic screamed frantically across the room.
He desperately reached into his inner suit pocket with his one free hand.
He pulled out a heavily folded legal document with a wicked, desperate smile.
"I secretly filed the medical proxy paperwork while my wife was in a coma!" he yelled.

The entire nursing staff gasped in horror at his cruel revelation.
"If you kick me out of this building, I will legally order the doctors to pull the plug on those incubators right now."
