Chapter 1 - The Revelation

Grant’s ominous words echoed in Silvio’s mind like a deafening death knell.
He had not bothered to ask whether Ethan and little Mia were physically unharmed.
Instead, this ruthless man had coldly asked why the two innocent children were still breathing.
The realization hit Silvio with the force of a runaway freight train.
This was never about punishing the kids for complaining about being hungry.
This was a calculated, cold-blooded assassination attempt orchestrated by his own family.
The two remaining bodyguards lunged forward to finish the job their boss had started.
Silvio did not hesitate for a fraction of a second.
He pivoted on his heel and delivered a crushing, bone-shattering blow to the first man’s jaw.
The guard’s eyes rolled back as he collapsed instantly onto the scattered estate maps.
The second man frantically reached for a concealed weapon inside his tailored jacket.
Silvio aggressively kicked his knee out, sending him crashing backward into the shattered valet kiosk.
Without waiting to see if they would get back up, Silvio grabbed Ethan and Mia by their hands.
He sprinted toward a black sedan idling near the entrance of the grand estate.
The driver was standing outside, completely distracted by the chaotic brawl unfolding on the pavement.
Silvio shoved the driver aside, tossed the terrified children into the backseat, and jumped behind the wheel.
He slammed his foot onto the gas pedal, tearing through the pristine iron gates of the mansion.
The tires squealed in protest as he navigated the winding mountain roads at a breakneck speed.
He desperately needed to find a safe place to hide and figure out his next move.
Ethan suddenly leaned forward from the backseat, his small hands shaking uncontrollably.
He reached into his torn jacket pocket and pulled out a small, metallic object.
May you like
Silvio glanced at the rearview mirror and felt his blood run entirely cold.
Ethan was holding a sophisticated GPS tracking device equipped with a steadily blinking red light.
