Chapter 7 - Chaos at the Docks
Explosions rocked the pier as the C4 Marcus had planted under the SUVs detonated. Vehicles flipped into the freezing harbor. Donnie’s men opened fire from the cranes above, raining hell down on Silas’s cartel.
Screams echoed through the fog. Captain Reynolds raised his rifle toward Marcus, but Marcus drew his 9mm faster, putting two rounds into the corrupt cop's chest. Reynolds collapsed, dead before he hit the wet concrete.
Amidst the smoke and gunfire, Marcus searched for Silas. But the cartel boss had vanished.
Marcus's radio crackled. It was Donnie's voice. "Thorne! We have a problem. A splinter group bypassed us. They hit the casino."
