Clara backed away from the radio, her entire body shaking with absolute, paralyzing terror.
Her ex-boyfriend, a ruthless enforcer named Julian, was somehow out of prison and hunting her.
Rico grabbed her shoulders and firmly promised that Julian would never get anywhere near her.
He immediately ordered Dante to prepare a heavily armed convoy to move them to a secure underground bunker.

The entire estate went into full lockdown as dozens of guards took defensive positions around the perimeter.
They hurried out the back doors toward the waiting, idling armored vehicles in the courtyard.
Suddenly, a deafening explosion ripped completely through the main security gate of the compound.
The sky illuminated with a bright, terrifying orange glow as heavily armed mercenaries stormed the property.
Gunfire erupted from every single direction, shattering the peaceful silence of the dark night.
Rico fired his weapon with deadly, terrifying precision, protecting Clara and Leo as they ran.
Dante provided heavy covering fire from the steps, yelling for them to get inside the primary extraction vehicle.
Clara scrambled into the back seat of the SUV and pulled Leo safely onto her lap.
Rico turned around to lay down a final barrage of bullets against the advancing mercenaries.
Dante suddenly slammed the heavy armored door shut, completely locking Rico outside in the deadly crossfire.
Clara screamed in horror as Dante slid into the driver's seat and locked all the doors.
