Olivia watched her former best friend cry on the dirty motel floor, her expression completely unreadable and cold.
Mia claimed she had been forced into the scheme under the threat of blackmail, swearing she never truly wanted Olivia to be hurt.
She revealed that Daniel and Victor were holding Sophie's younger brother in a highly secure private bank vault downtown.
Mia desperately offered to use her active security clearance as Daniel's former executive assistant to help them bypass the bank's extensive alarm system.

While applying the bandages, Olivia caught a brief, illuminating glimpse of the smartwatch strapped to Mia's wrist.
The digital screen briefly lit up with a brand new, encrypted text message from a blocked number.
The message from Daniel read, "Are you inside the room with them yet?"
