Chapter 3 - The Absolute Eviction

Vanessa stormed through the front doors of the main house, her face flushed with extreme humiliation.
She had been forced to leave her expensive diamond watch at the country club just to cover her breakfast tab.
She found Ethan sitting on the living room floor, staring blankly at the eviction notice.
"Your crazy mother somehow canceled all of our credit cards," Vanessa screamed, throwing her designer purse across the room.
Ethan slowly looked up at his furious wife.
"She did not just cancel the cards, Vanessa," he whispered hollowly.
"She owns the house, the cars, the business accounts, and every single thing we thought was ours."
Vanessa snatched the legal documents from his hands and rapidly scanned the pages.
The primary estate was not owned by Ethan, but by a corporate entity heavily shielded by Arthur’s original trust.
Because they had violated the morality clause by physically assaulting me, all their assets reverted back to the trust immediately.
"This is completely impossible," Vanessa yelled, refusing to accept reality.
"She is a broke, useless old woman who wears thrift store sweaters."
A loud, aggressive knock echoed from the heavy mahogany front door.
Before Ethan could even stand up, the door swung open.
Two uniformed sheriff deputies stepped into the grand foyer, accompanied by a ruthless property manager.
"You have exactly one hour to vacate these premises," the lead deputy announced coldly.
Vanessa shrieked, threatening to call her powerful father to sue the entire police department.
Ethan grabbed his phone and desperately dialed his father-in-law's private number, begging for a massive financial bailout.
Richard answered the phone with a heavy, disappointed sigh.
"I cannot help you, Ethan," Richard said sharply.
"My legal team just informed me who your mother actually is."

Ethan looked confused, his mind completely unable to process the situation.
"Your mother just bought a controlling interest in my entire company this morning, and she fired me."
