Chapter 7 - The Final Betrayal
The boardroom immediately erupted into chaos following Camila's shocking offer.
Julian lunged violently across the heavy oak table, desperately trying to grab the flash drive from her hand.
Two large security guards rushed into the room, forcefully pinning him back against the glass wall.
He screamed at Camila, calling her a traitor and demanding she return his property.
Camila ignored his desperate shouting and walked directly over to Chairman Davis.
She plugged the silver drive into the main projector laptop sitting in the center of the table.
She promised the board that it contained all the offshore routing numbers and the exact locations of the stolen funds.
The massive projector screen flashed to life, loading the encrypted files for the entire room to witness.
But instead of complex bank records, the screen displayed a digital arrest warrant.
Julian started laughing hysterically from the corner of the room.
Two armed detectives walked into the boardroom, their expressions deadly serious.
They completely ignored Julian and walked straight past the projector screen.
