Chapter 4 - The Corporate Ambush
I quickly hung up the phone and sprinted directly out of my office toward the main administrative floor.
I could hear Mark’s loud, aggressive voice echoing violently down the corporate hallway.
He was brutally screaming at Sarah, demanding she leave her desk and immediately return to her rightful place in the kitchen.
Sarah stood incredibly tall behind her new desk, absolutely refusing to back down or show him any fear.
Dozens of shocked employees stood frozen in the hallway, completely witnessing the CEO’s son completely lose his mind.
I pushed my way forcefully through the crowd and stepped directly between my furious son and his brave wife.
I slapped Mark completely across his arrogant face with a loud, stinging force that echoed through the entire floor.
The entire office gasped in absolute unison, completely shocked by my sudden, violent display of authority.
Mark stumbled backward, gripping his bright red cheek in sheer disbelief.
I coldly ordered him to get out of my building immediately before I had him permanently arrested for corporate trespassing.
He pointed a shaking finger at Sarah and wildly screamed that she was an unfit, completely terrible mother for abandoning her home.
He loudly declared that a working woman could never properly raise five children without completely destroying them.
Sarah finally spoke up, her voice ringing out incredibly clear and terrifyingly steady in the silent room.
She proudly stated that the only thing destroying her children was watching their father act like a monstrous tyrant.
Mark’s face turned an ugly, vibrant shade of purple as his fragile ego completely shattered in front of the staff.
He noticed Jessica standing quietly near the back of the crowd, entirely trying to hide her panicked expression.
He sneered wickedly and proudly announced to everyone that he didn't need Sarah because he had finally found a real woman.
I did not give him the satisfaction of a dramatic reveal.
I instantly turned to Jessica and loudly informed her that she was officially terminated, effective this exact second.
Jessica gasped and immediately burst into pathetic tears, begging me to reconsider her lucrative career.
I ordered the security guards to physically escort both of the arrogant cheaters completely off my private property.
The employees erupted into a massive round of supportive applause as Mark and Jessica were aggressively dragged to the elevators.
Sarah hugged me incredibly tight, crying happy tears of pure relief and absolute vindication.
We returned to my estate that evening feeling completely victorious and wonderfully free.
But the beautiful feeling of safety was violently shattered when a loud, aggressive knock echoed from my front door.
I opened the heavy door to find a cold, highly professional process server standing in the dark.

Mark had just officially filed for emergency, absolute full custody of all five children.
