The fallout was catastrophic and rapid.
The opposing attorney immediately dropped them as clients, refusing to represent perjurers. Word of the evidence reached Eleanor’s husband—David’s father—who had been completely in the dark about the massive debts and the conspiracy.
When he discovered that Eleanor had forged his signature to remortgage their family home to pay off her hidden credit cards, he suffered a mild heart attack. Upon recovering, he immediately filed for divorce, kicked Eleanor out of the house, and cut David off completely.
The smear campaign they had launched online backfired spectacularly. Sarah filed a defamation lawsuit, presenting the videos and the financial documents to a judge.
The judge granted an emergency injunction, forcing David to publicly retract his statements and issue a formal apology on every social media platform he had used to slander me.
