The vicious socialite raised her manicured hand to strike a helpless old woman in a wheelchair.
The loud gasp of the surrounding elite guests was completely drowned out by the classical music playing in the ballroom.

She was completely blinded by her own arrogance and limitless wealth.
She didn't realize that the real boss of the event was standing silently right behind her.
Alexander Sterling, the billionaire who actually owned the entire palace, watched the scene with dark, furious eyes.
And the frail woman Victoria had just tried to physically assault was his beloved mother.
