The secret underground clinic instantly erupted into absolute, utterly terrifying chaos.
Marcus quickly tossed a heavy tactical vest directly to Claire and pointed firmly toward the reinforced recovery ward.
"Take your sister and securely lock yourselves inside that room until I personally come for you," Marcus ordered.
Claire bravely shook her head, firmly refusing to ever leave the man who had just taken a bullet for her.
"I am absolutely not leaving Adrian behind to die," she declared with fierce, entirely undeniable determination.
She immediately grabbed a fully loaded pistol from a nearby medical cart and stood firmly by the surgical doors.
Heavy gunfire echoed incredibly violently down the concrete hallway as the Petrov mercenaries rapidly breached the perimeter.
Marcus and his fiercely loyal security team aggressively engaged the heavily armed attackers in a completely brutal firefight.
The Russian boss, Victor Petrov, walked incredibly slowly through the thick smoke, heavily armored and highly dangerous.
"Give me the digital ledger and the girl, and I will actually let the rest of you live," Victor demanded loudly.
Claire bravely stepped entirely out from behind the barricade, holding the black flash drive remarkably high in the air.
"If you dare to take one more step, I will completely destroy the absolutely only copy of this ledger," she threatened loudly.
Victor laughed a remarkably deep, booming laugh that echoed violently off the cold concrete walls.
"You are just an incredibly weak secretary, you do not have the absolute courage to do that," Victor sneered.
Claire did not hesitate for a single second; she boldly dropped the drive on the floor and raised her gun.
She deliberately fired a single shot directly into the fragile plastic casing, completely shattering the digital memory chip.
Victor roared in absolute, unhinged fury, aggressively raising his heavy assault rifle to kill her completely where she stood.
Before he could even pull the trigger, the heavy surgical doors directly behind Claire kicked violently open.
Adrian Vale stood remarkably weakly in the doorway, fiercely holding a high-powered shotgun firmly with his one good arm.
"Absolutely nobody disrespects my beloved fiancé," Adrian growled incredibly fiercely.
He forcefully pulled the trigger, sending a incredibly devastating blast that knocked Victor Petrov entirely off his feet.
