Chapter 9 - The Fall of the Traitor

The massive steel mill erupted entirely into a deafening warzone of flying bullets and shattered metal.

Orion's loyalists fought with fierce, unstoppable determination, pushing Silas's heavily armed mercenaries back.

Orion used the chaotic distraction to sprint aggressively up the metal stairs toward his treacherous brother.

Silas saw him coming and quickly drew his weapon, firing wildly into the dark, rusted catwalk.

Orion dodged the deadly bullets, tackling Silas violently to the hard steel grating.

The two angry brothers engaged entirely in a brutal, bloody hand-to-hand fight for ultimate survival.

Silas fought incredibly dirty, using a hidden combat knife to slash dangerously at Orion's chest.

Orion perfectly blocked the deadly strike, delivering a crushing, heavy blow to Silas's jaw.

Meanwhile, Ren successfully and quietly reached the catwalk where her sister was tied.

She frantically cut the thick, heavy ropes, pulling a crying Meadow into a tight, desperate embrace.

Caesar guarded them fiercely, growling menacingly at any mercenary who dared to even approach.

Orion finally disarmed Silas completely, pinning him heavily against the rusted railing of the catwalk.

He pointed his gun directly at his brother's forehead, entirely ready to pull the heavy trigger.

Silas spat dark blood and laughed, completely devoid of any true remorse or fear.

He proudly confessed that he had brutally murdered their mother years ago to gain total power.

Orion's blood ran completely cold, and he felt a terrifying urge to end his brother's evil life.

But he looked down at Ren and Meadow, realizing he truly wanted to be a better man for them.

He slowly lowered his weapon, absolutely refusing to let Silas turn him into a ruthless monster.

He knocked Silas completely unconscious with a swift, incredibly heavy strike to the temple.

The remaining mercenaries surrendered instantly as they saw their leader completely defeated.

Aldrich walked proudly up the stairs, placing a comforting, warm hand on his son's broad shoulder.

Orion walked over to Ren, pulling her and Meadow entirely into a protective, warm embrace.

The vast empire was finally secured, and the long, terrifying nightmare was supposedly over.

Suddenly, Silas's dropped phone began to emit a loud, rhythmic, mechanical beeping sound.

Orion picked it up and saw a bright red digital countdown timer displayed clearly on the screen.

Silas had viciously rigged the entire steel mill with high-grade, deadly military explosives.

The timer showed exactly sixty seconds until the entire building was reduced to absolute ash.
