He threw her violently against the metal shelving, knocking the breath completely out of her lungs.
The guard pulled a sharp knife, smiling cruelly as he prepared to silence her forever.
Suddenly, the thick glass window of the storage room shattered inward with explosive, terrifying force.
Caesar leaped through the broken glass like a massive, entirely unstoppable beast.
The dog clamped his powerful jaws securely around the guard's weapon arm, dragging him violently to the floor.
Ren did not waste a single, precious second of the bloody distraction.
She grabbed a heavy syringe of sedative and plunged it directly into the guard's thick neck.
The man went entirely limp almost instantly, completely neutralized by the powerful drug.
Ren grabbed the precious antidote and rushed back out to the truck with Caesar right behind her.
