Chapter 10 - The New Dynasty

One year later.
The sun shone brilliantly over the pristine coastline of Geneva, Switzerland. The Sterling-Frost private estate sat high on the cliffs, overlooking the vast, glittering expanse of Lake Geneva. It was a place of warmth, open windows, and unpretentious beauty.
Clara sat on the sprawling terrace, wearing a simple white sundress, her bare feet resting on the warm stone tiles. She was reviewing the quarterly earnings of the Consortium on a tablet, the numbers reflecting historic, unprecedented growth. The empire was thriving under her rule—a rule governed by ruthless efficiency in the boardroom, but unwavering compassion for her employees and philanthropic causes.
A squeal of absolute delight broke her concentration.
Clara looked up to see Arthur running across the manicured lawn, chasing a stumbling, giggling one-and-a-half-year-old Oliver. Oliver’s little legs carried him as fast as they could before he launched himself into his father’s arms. Arthur spun him around in the air, the sound of their laughter echoing across the cliffs.
Clara smiled, setting her tablet down. She closed her eyes, letting the warm breeze wash over her.
The blue-collar girl who had walked into a den of vipers had survived. She hadn't just survived; she had conquered. She had dismantled a toxic dynasty, brought a monster to justice, and built a new empire on a foundation of truth and love.
Arthur walked up to the terrace, carrying Oliver on his shoulders. He leaned down and kissed Clara softly on the lips.
"What are you thinking about, Mrs. Hawthorne?" Arthur asked, his eyes crinkling with happiness.
"Actually," Clara said, standing up and wrapping her arms around his waist, "I was thinking that it’s Clara Frost. And I was thinking that we have everything we could ever want."
Oliver babbled happily, playing with Clara’s auburn hair.

The fairy tale wasn't the one the media had spun years ago—the poor girl saved by the billionaire prince. The true fairy tale was the queen who had saved herself, saved her prince, and built a kingdom where they could finally live in peace.
Clara looked out over the sparkling lake, the world entirely in her hands, and knew that the story of the Sterling-Frost dynasty was only just beginning.
