Eric casually wiped a drop of blood from his expensive tuxedo jacket.
He looked at me with the eyes of an absolute psychopath.
He stated that the price of doing business had just gone up.
Chloe screamed and backed into the corner of the room.
Eric picked up the dead manager's gun from the carpet using a handkerchief.
He forcefully grabbed my hand and tried to press my fingerprints onto the weapon.
He whispered that I was now going to take the fall for murdering Marcus.

He promised to visit me in prison after he collected my assets.
I refused to let this monster win.
I stomped the heel of my wedding shoe directly onto his instep with all my strength.
Eric howled in pain and loosened his grip on my hand.
I shoved him backward over his mother's unconscious body.
He tripped and crashed hard into the broken vanity table.
I grabbed Chloe's arm and we sprinted out of the suite into the dark hallway.
We ran blindly through the winding corridors of the massive estate.
We finally found a heavy metal exit door that led to the venue's underground parking garage.
We burst into the cool night air and frantically searched for my car.
I unlocked my sedan with the remote in my pocket and we rushed toward it.
