Now, he was entirely casually drinking coffee in a billionaire's highly secret mountain bunker.

Before Aris could even answer, the entire bunker violently shook from a incredibly massive external explosion.
The heavily armed enemy syndicate, highly known as Obsidian, had finally arrived at the heavily reinforced facility with highly destructive explosives.
They were actively planting massive breaching charges directly on the incredibly thick steel blast doors.
Aris panicked completely, running frantically to the central computer terminal to quickly initiate the bunker's self-destruct sequence.
He frantically explained that he would entirely rather destroy his life's work than let the Obsidian syndicate weaponize it.
However, the self-destruct protocol strictly required a living, actively beating heart to be physically wired to the detonator.
Aris looked directly at Marcus, highly suggesting the completely dying billionaire make himself entirely useful and permanently end the nightmare.
Marcus glared fiercely at the scientist, entirely refusing to sacrifice his own life for a failed AI project.
Instead, Marcus very weakly raised his heavy backup pistol and aimed it squarely at Aris's chest.
