Chapter 6 - The Skyfall Betrayal

The deafening roar of the helicopter blades provided a terrifying soundtrack to the absolute betrayal completely unfolding in the dark sky.
Preston stared completely in shock down the dark, deadly barrel of the silver pistol held firmly by his oldest friend.
“Vance, you have absolutely known me for twenty years, you cannot possibly do this,” Preston pleaded, his voice completely tight with raw disbelief.
Vance’s deeply scarred face remained a terrifying mask of absolute, professional indifference.
“Twenty years of absolute loyalty didn't buy me a private island, Preston,” the corrupt security chief stated coldly.
“Marcus is offering me an entirely new life, and all I have to do is entirely erase the two of you from existence.”
Julian, still tightly strapped directly to Preston’s tactical harness, suddenly began to heavily convulse in absolute agony.
The glowing blue veins aggressively reappeared across the small boy's pale face, shining entirely too brightly in the dim cabin.
“His heart rate is aggressively lying to you, Preston!” Julian screamed loudly, violently clutching his own chest in pain.
“He doesn't want the dirty money at all, Marcus secretly infected Vance's daughter with the exact same genetic virus, and this is pure blackmail!”
Vance’s professional, cold demeanor shattered instantly into a million entirely broken pieces.
The heavy silver pistol trembled violently in the massive man's hands as tears aggressively filled his absolute, desperate eyes.
“Shut up, you little freak!” Vance roared in absolute panic, furiously pulling the heavy hammer of the gun completely back.
Preston didn't waste another single fraction of a second trying to verbally negotiate with a hopelessly desperate father.
Using the terrifying, unnatural speed gifted completely by the boy's DNA, Preston violently lunged across the small cabin.
He aggressively grabbed the burning hot barrel of the gun, forcefully twisting the heavy weapon completely upward just as Vance pulled the trigger.
The deafening gunshot violently shattered the glass ceiling of the helicopter, sending a massive spray of sharp debris entirely into the dark sky.
Preston brutally headbutted the massive security chief, instantly knocking Vance entirely unconscious against the heavy control panel.
But as Vance's heavy body slumped violently forward, his arm completely tangled within the primary steering yoke.
The massive helicopter instantly pitched into a terrifying, completely uncontrolled nosedive directly toward the dark, unforgiving ocean.
Preston frantically ripped Vance out of the pilot's seat, aggressively throwing himself into the heavy leather chair.
He violently grabbed the complex controls, desperately trying to pull the heavy, plummeting aircraft entirely out of its deadly dive.
The terrifying warning alarms aggressively screamed loudly in the cabin as the dark water violently rushed up to meet them.
“Pull up right now!” Julian screamed in absolute terror, squeezing his eyes entirely shut.
With a massive, genetically enhanced roar of pure exertion, Preston violently forced the heavy steering yoke entirely backward.
The heavy helicopter violently groaned under the immense stress, barely leveling out a mere five feet completely above the crashing ocean waves.
They flew aggressively low under the corporate radar, eventually crashing the heavily damaged chopper violently into a completely deserted beach.
Preston aggressively kicked the jammed doors completely open, furiously dragging the unconscious Vance and the highly exhausted boy out onto the wet sand.
He absolutely needed Vance alive to completely testify against Marcus in a federal court.
As Preston completely secured the unconscious traitor with heavy zip ties, Julian violently collapsed into the cold sand.
“Preston, there is something I didn't completely tell you about the healing process,” Julian gasped out, his skin turning incredibly pale.
“Every single time I use my power to completely heal someone else, the genetic damage entirely transfers to my own organs.”

Julian violently coughed up a massive amount of thick, black blood directly onto the white sand.
“I don't have enough time left to completely stop him,” the boy whispered as his eyes rolled entirely into the back of his head.
