Chapter 9 - The Fall of the Villaseñors

The heavy brass paperweight sailed dangerously close to my temple as I quickly dodged his violent attack.
Two federal agents rushed into the boardroom and tackled Andrés brutally to the carpet.
They slammed his face into the floor and locked heavy steel handcuffs tightly around his wrists.
Andrés screamed hysterically, thrashing wildly against the agents as they hauled him to his feet.
He cried out for his mother, begging someone to call Doña Patricia to come save him from this nightmare.
I walked up to him closely, looking into his pathetic, tear-filled eyes without a single drop of pity.
I told him his cruel mother could not save him because she was currently being physically thrown out of the hacienda.
The agents dragged my screaming husband out of the elegant boardroom and into the crowded hallway.
I walked over to the massive television screen mounted on the wall and turned on the local news channel.
The breaking news segment showed a live helicopter view of the beautiful hacienda on the outskirts of the city.
My private eviction team was throwing expensive furniture, designer clothes, and luxury items out onto the dusty road.
Doña Patricia was sobbing wildly on the sidewalk, entirely stripped of her fake dignity and stolen wealth.
Her arrogant sons and prestigious business partners were nowhere to be seen, having completely abandoned her when the money ran dry.
Isabella was also shown being escorted out of my luxury penthouse by police officers, her face hidden behind a large blue balloon.
I poured myself a glass of expensive sparkling water and watched the magnificent fall of the entire Villaseñor family.
They had treated me like disposable garbage for eleven years, and now they were left with absolutely nothing.
I thanked the federal banking representative for his quick action and promised full cooperation with the fraud investigation.
I left the corporate headquarters feeling lighter and more powerful than I had ever felt in my entire life.
I drove back to my secure private estate where my beautiful daughters were safely waiting for me.
When I walked through the door, Sofía and Valentina ran into my arms with bright, happy smiles.
I hugged them tightly, breathing in their sweet scent, knowing they would never be treated like leftovers again.
I spent the entire evening playing games with them, completely ignoring the frantic calls from Andrés's desperate relatives.
I finally tucked my exhausted girls into their warm beds and kissed their foreheads goodnight.
I walked into my quiet living room and poured a large glass of expensive vintage champagne to celebrate my total victory.
I had successfully completely destroyed the monsters who hurt my children, and my massive empire was entirely secure.

Everything was absolutely perfect.
But as I raised the crystal glass to my lips, my secure private cell phone suddenly began to ring.
