Chapter 8 - The Fiancée's Betrayal

The sight of my fiancée kissing my secret twin brother made my stomach violently turn.
Amelia pulled away from Julian and looked at me with a perfectly manicured smile.
She casually slipped the diamond engagement ring off her finger and dropped it into a nearby trash can.
I realized I had been nothing but a pawn in a massive, orchestrated game.
Amelia explained that she had discovered Julian's existence two years ago during a corporate merger.
She realized Julian was far more ruthless and ambitious than I would ever be.
Together, they had devised a plan to systematically strip me of my inheritance and my company.
My marriage to Amelia was supposed to be the final step in handing over my voting rights on the board.
But Julian had found out about the triplets a month ago.
He realized the children were his biological heirs, which complicated his legal claim to the family fortune.
They had intentionally led me to this hospital tonight to force Grace's hand.
Amelia looked at Grace with cold, dead eyes.
She repeated Julian's ultimatum, telling Grace she had exactly five minutes to agree to get on their private jet.
I stepped in front of Grace, shielding her from these absolute monsters.
I told Amelia and Julian that they would never take my family.
Amelia laughed and pulled a thick legal document from her designer handbag.
She said my mother had already signed over full temporary custody of the children to Julian.
My mother had agreed to the deal in exchange for keeping the company's stock prices stable.
My own mother had sold my children to a psychopath to protect her wealth.
The head doctor suddenly rushed out of the boy's room looking panicked.
May you like
He shouted that they were out of time and needed the donor in the operating room immediately.
Julian smiled at Grace and asked for her final answer.
