Chapter 9 - The Explosive Escape
The massive, highly pressurized medical oxygen tank exploded instantly with a completely deafening, utterly earth-shattering roar. A massive wave of pure, completely violent heat violently threw Cousin Ray completely across the dark, incredibly bloody room. The aggressive explosion completely shattered absolutely every single glass window in the old cabin, flawlessly allowing the freezing storm to safely rush inside. I instinctively threw my own body entirely over Megan and the safely crying baby, desperately shielding them from the absolutely deadly flying shrapnel. Thick, incredibly blinding white smoke rapidly filled the entire living room, completely destroying any remaining visual visibility. I heard Ray loudly coughing violently in the dark corner, completely disoriented and blindly searching for his heavy, dropped police weapon. I knew we possessed a very tiny, highly crucial window of golden opportunity to escape this blazing inferno completely before the entire roof collapsed entirely. I safely burst out perfectly into the freezing, relentless rain and sprinted highly desperately across the muddy grass strictly toward Marcus's securely waiting black sedan. Marcus quickly threw the heavy passenger doors open and aggressively helped me rapidly pull my absolutely terrified family safely inside the warm vehicle. He violently slammed his heavy foot securely down on the gas pedal, expertly tearing out of the muddy driveway just as the wooden cabin roof entirely collapsed. The massive, highly bright fire illuminated the completely dark night sky, permanently perfectly destroying the horrific chamber of torture my fake mother had brilliantly created. Marcus proudly announced strictly that he had successfully completely sent the massive legal evidence file directly perfectly to the actual, highly uncorrupted FBI task force. I held my fully crying wife securely closely and softly kissed my tiny son's forehead, completely perfectly overwhelmed entirely by a massive wave of pure relief. The absolutely terrifying, utterly endless nightmare was finally completely over, and the highly dangerous monsters were officially heavily burning purely in their own trap. We safely drove incredibly fast strictly toward the massive downtown city hospital, completely leaving the horrific darkness perfectly in our distant rearview mirror. Just as I finally happily closed my completely exhausted eyes, Marcus's highly secure cell phone suddenly buzzed violently entirely with a highly urgent, fully unknown text message.
