Chapter 19 - The Syndicate's Justice

Vance pinned Julian’s arms behind his back, pressing his face ruthlessly into the freezing concrete floor.

Julian screamed in raw, agonizing panic, begging me to call off the syndicate and promising to disappear forever.

I looked down at him with absolute zero empathy, adjusting the cuffs of my dark suit.

I told him that I did not control the European cartel, nor did I have the power to stop the justice they demanded.

I simply provided them with his exact coordinates and the encrypted drives proving his massive theft.

The live video feed on the laptop flickered as the syndicate boss nodded silently, acknowledging the delivery of the traitor.

The three mercenaries grabbed Julian by his expensive jacket, dragging him toward a waiting black SUV parked in the shadows of the hangar.

Julian thrashed violently, kicking and screaming my name, pleading for a mercy he had never once shown anyone else.

I watched with cold, clinical detachment as they threw him into the back of the vehicle and slammed the heavy doors shut.

As the SUV sped out of the hangar and vanished into the stormy night, a fleet of federal police cruisers swarmed the tarmac.

My attorney, Marcus, stepped out of the lead cruiser holding the signed parental surrender documents Julian had left on the table.

Because Julian had willingly signed the papers before the cartel dragged him away, the legal victory was absolute and binding.

I handed the federal agents the encrypted laptop containing all the evidence of Julian’s financial crimes.

The police had no idea about the cartel kidnapping; they simply believed Julian had fled the country to escape federal prosecution.

With federal warrants immediately issued for his arrest, Julian was now a hunted man by both the law and the underworld.

He would never be able to step foot in the United States again, completely neutralizing his threat to my family.

I walked out of the hangar, the cold rain mixing with the tears of absolute relief streaming down my face.

The war was finally over, and every single monster that had tried to destroy me was either in a cage or running for their lives.

I climbed into the back of my armored vehicle, turning to Vance with a quiet, exhausted smile.

I told him to drive me to the mountains because it was time to bring my children home.
