Chapter 9 - The Hidden Camera

The massive auditorium immediately erupted into sheer, unadulterated chaos as the shocking accusation echoed through the historic room.
My exhausted heart slammed against my ribs so hard I thought it might completely break right through my chest.
"That is an absolute, complete lie, Grandma Louise died of natural causes three years ago!" I screamed frantically at the agent.
The federal agent marched aggressively up the wooden stairs onto the stage, holding a pair of heavy steel handcuffs.
"Your parents just provided a signed, written confession stating you poisoned her to steal her expensive silver jewelry," the agent declared.
My fake family had planted a final, devastating legal trap to ensure I rotted in prison instead of claiming my rightful trust.
The police officers began to pull me forcefully away from the piano bench, completely ignoring my desperate tears.
Judge Vance suddenly sprinted out from the backstage shadows carrying the legendary black violin case.
"Stop right there, because I have the absolute physical proof that entirely clears this young woman's name!" Vance roared powerfully.
He slammed the violin case onto the grand piano and quickly popped the heavy brass latches completely open.
He did not pull out a violin, but rather a highly advanced, military-grade surveillance hard drive.
"Julian Sterling knew these monsters were highly dangerous, so he had hidden cameras secretly installed in their house five years ago," Vance revealed.
Vance plugged the small digital device into the auditorium's massive audio-visual projection system.
The giant white screen behind the stage flickered to life, showing a crystal-clear video of my childhood living room.
The entire audience gasped loudly as they watched my mother and father intentionally pouring a lethal white powder into Grandma Louise's tea.
The shocking video clearly proved my fake parents had murdered her to prevent her from telling me the ultimate truth about my biological father.
The federal agent instantly dropped my handcuffs and turned his furious, deadly glare toward the back of the room.
My fake parents were screaming hysterically as the police slammed them roughly against the hard auditorium floor.
Ryan was sobbing pathetically, begging the officers for mercy as they dragged him away in tight iron chains.

Suddenly, my father managed to break his arm free from the struggling officer's grip and reached for a heavy police baton.
He swung the solid metal weapon violently toward my piano teacher's fragile head with absolute murderous intent.
