Chapter 1 - The Wedding Interruption

The lavish wedding hall fell completely silent beneath the glittering crystal chandeliers.
A dirty little girl had suddenly appeared in the middle of the pristine white aisle.
She was holding a crying toddler tightly in her frail, trembling arms.
Hundreds of wealthy guests turned in their seats with absolute confusion.
The beautiful bridesmaids froze in place as the classical music abruptly stopped.
Eleanor, the elegant and powerful bride, immediately pointed at the child with deep disgust.
She screamed at the security guards to get that filthy girl out of her exclusive wedding.
The frightened little girl trembled while clutching her baby sister tighter against her chest.
It looked like she was completely terrified of losing the only family she had left in the world.
Then, slowly and through heavy tears, she looked directly at the billionaire groom.
Alexander stood beneath the white rose altar, looking down at the uninvited guests.
The little girl whispered one word that completely shattered the perfect ceremony.
"Daddy."
The entire wedding stopped breathing as the heavy word echoed through the silent cathedral.
Alexander froze instantly, his handsome face losing absolutely all of its color.
His dark eyes widened in profound shock as he stared at the familiar shape of the child's face.
Eleanor suddenly turned pale with panic, her hands shaking as she realized the child was not lying.
While hundreds of the city's most powerful elite watched in stunned silence, the crying little girl took one step toward the altar.
She begged through heavy tears, pleading with him not to leave them alone anymore.
That was when the powerful, stoic groom finally began to break down in front of everyone.
Alexander dropped his expensive champagne glass, letting it shatter completely on the marble floor.
He took a slow step toward the children, his heart pounding a frantic rhythm in his chest.
Before he could reach out to touch the little girl's messy hair, she reached into her torn pocket.
May you like
She pulled out a crumpled, heavily bloodstained letter and shoved it toward his trembling hands.
She whispered that Mommy told her to give this to him right before the bad men dragged her away into the dark.
