Victoria was not a woman who lost gracefully. Two days later, the tabloids exploded.

The headlines were plastered across every major gossip site. Victoria had gone to the press, weeping to reporters about how she was cruelly evicted because a manipulative, gold-digging nanny had seduced her fiancé and brainwashed the children.
Paparazzi swarmed the gates of the Sterling estate. Drones hovered over the gardens.
Elena was terrified. She offered her resignation, packing her bags with tears in her eyes. "I'm ruining your reputation, Alexander," she said, accidentally dropping the formalities. "I have to leave."
