Chapter 5 - The Eviction

Corporate security guards physically grabbed Richard by the arms and dragged him forcefully out of the towering building.
He was thrown onto the cold city sidewalk in front of dozens of flashing paparazzi cameras that had mysteriously been tipped off.
His pristine reputation was instantly destroyed, his career was entirely ruined, and his massive ego was shattered.
He scrambled into a passing taxi, angrily ordering the driver to take him back to our luxurious suburban estate.
He planned to aggressively pack up his expensive art collection and hide his remaining luxury watches before the divorce lawyers arrived.
When the taxi pulled up to the massive iron gates, Richard realized his electronic key fob was completely disabled.
He angrily climbed over the tall security fence, tearing his expensive suit pants in the frantic process.
He sprinted up the long, winding driveway, only to freeze completely when he finally reached the front porch.
Every single piece of his designer clothing was packed into cheap garbage bags and left carelessly on the concrete steps.
He frantically tried to jam his house key into the front door, but the locks had already been completely changed.
I stepped out onto the second-floor master balcony, holding a crystal glass of expensive red wine.
Richard screamed up at me, violently threatening to call the police and have me arrested for illegal eviction.
He boldly claimed that his name was on the master deed and he had every legal right to be inside that house.
I took a slow sip of my wine, thoroughly enjoying the crisp evening air and the absolute panic in his voice.
I calmly informed him that the estate was no longer owned by Richard Hawthorne or his family trust.
I explained that I had used the very same offshore accounts he used for embezzlement to legally purchase the property through a private shell company.
Since he had unknowingly signed away his financial rights in the prenup, the house now belonged entirely to me.
Richard let out a furious, animalistic scream and picked up a heavy stone planter to smash the front window.
Before he could even swing the heavy stone, four dark SUVs aggressively swerved into the long driveway.

The flashing red and blue lights illuminated his terrified face as armed federal detectives rushed out of the vehicles.
They slammed him violently against the brick wall, announcing that he was under federal arrest for massive corporate fraud and embezzlement.
