María lunged forward to grab Emily, but the little girl quickly stepped out of her reach.
Emily stared directly at her father with a fierce, unbelievable bravery that defied her young age.
She told Thomas that she would give him the shiny box if he let the nice lady go.
Thomas’s eyes widened with greedy desperation at the sight of the physical hard drive.
He pushed Claire aggressively to the floor and took a slow, eager step toward his daughter.
Daniel knew this was the only distraction they were ever going to get.
He raised his weapon with lightning speed and fired a perfect shot directly into Thomas’s shotgun.
The heavy weapon shattered in Thomas’s hands, sending painful metal shrapnel into his arms.
María leaped out of the shadows and tackled the remaining tactical soldier to the ground.
She brutally struck the man with the butt of her pistol, knocking him completely unconscious.
Thomas screamed in rage and charged wildly toward his tiny daughter.
Emily did not flinch, she simply threw the hard drive as hard as she could into the deep grease fryers.
Thomas dove desperately after the drive, plunging his bare hands into the cold, toxic sludge.
Daniel rushed forward and violently slammed Thomas’s head against the stainless steel counter.
The corrupt monster collapsed onto the dirty tile floor, completely defeated and bleeding.
Claire crawled over to Emily and wrapped the brave little girl in a massive, protective hug.
The sound of heavy, rhythmic chopping suddenly filled the night air outside the diner.
