Chapter 1 - The Pasta Incident

The evening air at the exclusive Los Angeles rooftop restaurant was perfectly crisp.

Eleanor Vance sat at the head of the VIP table, swirling her expensive champagne with a cruel smile.

She had spent the last thirty minutes completely humiliating Amara in front of the city's most elite socialites.

She called Amara a pathetic gold digger who was entirely unworthy of her precious son.

Julian simply sat there in his tailored tuxedo, silently letting his mother tear his fiancée to pieces.

Amara looked down at her plate of truffle pasta, feeling the burning sting of absolute betrayal.

She had spent two years loving a man who refused to defend her when it mattered most.

But tonight, Amara was not going to run away to the bathroom and cry.

She calmly picked up the heavy porcelain bowl filled with hot, oily pasta.

Without a single word of warning, she dumped the entire bowl directly over Julian’s perfectly styled hair.

The wealthy guests gasped in pure shock as noodles and truffle oil dripped down his designer suit.

Julian jumped up from his chair, screaming in total disbelief as he frantically wiped his face.

Eleanor slammed her hands on the table, her face turning crimson with uncontrollable rage.

She ordered the restaurant security to throw the filthy girl out into the street.

Amara did not move a single inch.

She looked Eleanor dead in the eyes and smiled a cold, calculating smile.
