Chapter 6 - The Iron Vault

The massive guards grabbed Julian’s lifeless body by the arms and dragged him aggressively out of the dining room.
Isabella hysterically lunged toward her husband, her perfectly manicured nails aiming directly for his completely calm, unbothered face.
Sebastian caught her wrists with terrifying speed and effortless strength, twisting her arms painfully behind her back.
He forcefully marched her down the grand hallway, completely ignoring her desperate, agonizing screams for her infant son.
He dragged her down the steep stone stairs leading to the estate's underground, heavily fortified climate-control vault.
Sebastian threw her violently onto the freezing concrete floor, causing her to scrape her knees deeply.
As he stood in the doorway, he coldly explained that she had fundamentally failed her audition for the role of his loyal wife.
He confessed that he only ever needed the physical birth of a child to legally activate a massive, multi-billion dollar family trust fund.
He absolutely did not care that the baby was not his biological blood, because the child was legally a Vance on paper.
Isabella begged him to let her keep Leo, promising she would sign away all her financial rights and disappear forever.
Sebastian laughed cruelly, stating that Leo already had a much better, significantly more obedient mother waiting upstairs.
He revealed that Clara was not a simple nanny hired to expose Isabella's pathetic infidelity.
Clara was actually Evelyn, Sebastian's supposedly deceased first wife, who had faked her death because she was biologically barren.
They had used Isabella merely as an incubator, and now her usefulness had permanently expired.
Sebastian stepped out into the hallway and slammed the heavy titanium vault door shut.

The complex locking mechanism engaged with a loud, incredibly final metallic thud.
Isabella was completely trapped in the pitch-black, freezing darkness, buried alive beneath the sprawling estate.
