Rosa was entirely horrified by the gruesome revelation.
She dropped to her knees and swore she had nothing to do with Carmela's death.
Dante struggled visibly to process the violent collision of his past and present.
His overwhelming grief battled aggressively with his new affection for Sophia.
He ultimately decided he needed to keep his enemies incredibly close.
He ordered his staff to move Rosa and Sophia into the master wing immediately.
The other servants whispered vicious rumors behind their backs.
Marina, his late wife's sister, glared at Rosa with absolute hatred.
Marina cornered Rosa in the hallway and told her she did not belong in this family.
She whispered that tragic accidents often happened to people who got too close to Dante.
Rosa tried to ignore the threats and focus on her daughter's safety.
Later that evening, Dante visited Sophia in her new lavish bedroom.
He actually smiled genuinely as the little girl showed him her coloring book.
Rosa stood in the doorway and felt her heart flutter for the mafia boss.
