Chapter 7 - The Sniper's Nest

The stealth vehicle violently slammed into a stack of shipping containers as the engine caught fire.

Jax kicked the jammed door open and laid down heavy suppressive fire so Emily and I could escape the burning wreckage.

We dove behind a massive steel crane just as another sniper bullet ricocheted inches from my head.

The shooter was positioned high atop a loading gantry, using advanced thermal optics to track our body heat in the dark.

Jax tossed me his specialized smoke grenades and told me to blind the sniper's thermal vision.

I pulled the pins and hurled the grenades into the open yard, instantly creating a thick wall of burning white phosphorus smoke.

I used the chaotic cover to sprint aggressively toward the base of the gantry, scaling the metal ladder with brutal efficiency.

The sniper was desperately trying to recalibrate his scope when I silently crested the top platform.

I grabbed him from behind, disarmed his rifle, and rendered him completely unconscious with a swift strike to the temple.

I took his high-powered rifle and scanned the massive shipping yard below through the advanced scope.

Ethan and Brandon were standing near a luxury yacht, barking angry orders at heavily armed dockworkers loading the stolen weapons.

Margaret stood safely behind bulletproof glass on the bridge of the ship, sipping champagne as if she were at a gala.

I radioed Jax and told him the path was clear to move Emily closer to the extraction point.

I provided lethal overwatch, dropping three mercenaries who tried to ambush them near the main warehouse.

We were systematically dismantling their private army, and the Prescotts were finally beginning to panic.

Ethan violently grabbed a dockworker and used him as a human shield as he retreated toward the yacht.

I climbed down from the gantry and reunited with Jax and Emily near the water's edge.

We were only fifty yards away from completely seizing the ship and securing the weapons cache.

Suddenly, a massive spotlight flicked on from the roof of the main warehouse, blinding us completely.

General Vance stepped into the harsh light, holding a megaphone and flanked by twenty corrupt federal agents.

He proudly announced that he had legally declared me a rogue domestic terrorist, and my execution was officially authorized.

To my absolute horror, Jax slowly lowered his weapon and pointed his sidearm directly at my ribs.
