Chapter 7 - The Underground Clinic

Elias and Clara knew they absolutely could not hide from a powerful billionaire forever.

They decided to stop running and aggressively fight back against his massive criminal empire.

They used the stolen police tablet to track the digital footprint of the illegal medical facility.

The coordinates led them directly to an abandoned, heavily reinforced military bunker outside the city limits.

They completely bypassed the heavily armed perimeter guards by sneaking through an old, rusted ventilation shaft.

They dropped silently into the dark, incredibly sterile white hallways of the hidden underground hospital.

The facility was filled with advanced medical equipment and heavy steel doors locked with biometric scanners.

Elias violently knocked out a passing security guard and quickly stole his heavy tactical weapon and access card.

They used the stolen card to access the central server room to download all of Richard's illegal patient files.

The massive files proved that Richard had kidnapped dozens of innocent people for completely illegal organ harvesting.

"We have entirely enough evidence to put him in federal prison for the rest of his life," Elias whispered.

Clara firmly shook her head, stating they needed to physically destroy the entire laboratory to truly stop him.

They completely loaded the stolen police tablet with a highly destructive, completely irreversible computer virus.

The virus instantly disabled the entire security grid and unlocked every single heavy door in the bunker.

They aggressively moved toward the main operating theater to completely rescue any remaining innocent captives.

Elias kicked the heavy double doors completely open, pointing his stolen rifle directly into the massive room.

But the incredibly large operating theater was entirely empty except for a single, highly advanced life-support machine.

Resting peacefully inside a glowing, fluid-filled stasis pod was a beautifully pale, completely motionless woman.

Clara entirely recognized the woman from old, highly secretive photographs hidden in Richard's private study.

It was Evelyn, Richard's truly beloved first wife who was completely rumored to have died a decade ago.

Suddenly, the heavy steel doors violently slammed shut behind them, completely trapping them entirely inside the room.

Richard stepped smoothly out of the dark shadows wearing a pristine white surgical coat.

"Thank you so much for voluntarily returning the exact donor heart I desperately needed," Richard smiled wickedly.
