Chapter 10 - The Family Trust

The surgeon offered a small, exhausted smile to the terrified family.

"He is in a medically induced coma, but he is going to survive," the doctor announced.

Claire let out a loud sob of pure relief and hugged Margaret tightly.

Noah slumped against the hospital wall, sliding down to the floor as a massive weight lifted from his chest.

Over the next two weeks, Ethan made a miraculous recovery in the private wing of the hospital.

When he finally woke up, the first faces he saw were Claire and Noah standing right beside his bed.

Margaret walked into the room shortly after, holding a fresh legal document in her hands.

She approached the bed and formally tore the cruel prenuptial agreement directly in half.

"I have already updated my will and the family trust," Margaret declared with a warm smile.

"Noah is officially listed as my legal grandson and a full heir to the Caldwell estate."

Ethan smiled weakly at his mother, finally seeing the compassion he always knew she possessed.

Six months later, Ethan and Claire were married in a beautiful outdoor ceremony at the Caldwell mansion.

Margaret danced with Noah at the reception, laughing loudly and enjoying her newly united family.

The nightmare with Victor Thorne felt like a distant, faded memory.

Noah walked to his old Honda parked behind the catering tents to grab his camera.

He reached under the driver's seat and pulled out a hidden burner phone.
