Chapter 6 - The Ghost Awakens

Marcus didn't argue. He took off his uniform, folded it neatly on the hood of a nearby Ferrari, and walked out into the morning air.
He didn't feel defeated. He felt awake. He had known Damian would break his word. The billionaires always did. But Marcus hadn't just fixed the Bugatti; he had studied it. He knew exactly how much power it made, how it cornered, and, most importantly, its one fatal flaw.
Marcus took a bus to the industrial outskirts of the city, arriving at a rusted, unmarked garage. Inside was a tight-knit crew of ex-mechanics, outcasts, and gearheads who had been burned by the corporate automotive industry.
At the center of the garage sat a vehicle covered in a tarp.
Marcus pulled the canvas back, revealing a 1990s Japanese import—a heavily modified, aggressively widened chassis that looked like it had survived a war. It wasn't pretty. It didn't have leather seats or an infotainment system. But beneath the hood was a monstrous, hand-built engine that Marcus had been secretly tuning for five years.

"Are we doing this, boss?" asked Leo, a young mechanic holding a welder.
"We're doing it," Marcus said, his eyes burning with a fire he hadn't felt in decades. "Damian Cross thinks money owns the road. We're going to show him what happens when you race the devil."
