Chapter 10 - The Ultimate Betrayal
The completely warm heat of the entirely crackling fireplace instantly totally vanished entirely as the completely terrifying total reality of her completely deadly presence crashed heavily entirely over me.
"Evelyn, what completely in the entirely total hell completely are you entirely totally doing completely here?" Silas entirely demanded aggressively completely, entirely stepping totally and completely in front of completely me and entirely Maya totally to heavily shield us.
His completely entirely beautiful wife absolutely did not completely lower the entirely heavily suppressed total weapon, her completely perfect finger resting totally dangerously entirely on the completely sensitive trigger.
"I completely have entirely been totally waiting completely for you entirely to heavily bring the totally complete drive directly entirely to completely me, totally darling," Evelyn completely mocked entirely smoothly, completely devoid entirely of any totally complete spousal affection.
Silas stared completely at her entirely in absolute, totally devastating complete disbelief, his completely entire total world entirely and completely shattering heavily in completely front entirely of his totally shocked eyes.
"You completely hired the entirely Russian syndicate totally to completely murder a entirely totally innocent ten-year-old completely girl and entirely her completely totally loving parents?" he entirely asked, his completely heavy voice entirely shaking totally with pure, completely unfiltered total rage.
Evelyn completely laughed entirely, a totally cold, completely soulless entirely terrifying sound that completely and totally chilled my entirely completely frozen blood.
"Her completely entirely brilliant father totally discovered completely that I entirely have been totally secretly completely draining entirely your massive total empire completely for the entirely past totally five years entirely to completely fund my totally own private completely armed army."
She entirely gestured completely aggressively entirely with the highly suppressed totally deadly pistol completely toward the entirely glowing totally encrypted laptop completely on the entirely wooden table.
"That completely heavy silver drive absolutely does entirely not completely just totally contain a entirely simple deadly kill list, Silas, it completely contains the absolutely total entirely undeniable proof of completely my massive entirely total treason."
Silas completely placed the entirely sleeping total baby completely and entirely gently onto the completely soft totally plush sofa, his completely strong hands slowly entirely balling totally into tight, completely entirely lethal fists.
"You completely entirely planted a military-grade totally agonizing torture completely device entirely on your entirely totally own completely innocent flesh completely and entirely blood," Silas entirely growled, completely taking a totally slow, highly calculated entirely heavy step completely toward her.
Evelyn's completely totally perfect smile entirely vanished instantly, entirely replaced totally by a completely heavy mask entirely of pure, completely unfiltered total hatred.
"I entirely never totally wanted that completely heavily screaming total burden, I entirely only totally had him completely to entirely legally total secure completely my massive entirely total inheritance completely before I entirely totally had you completely and entirely heavily eliminated."
She completely aimed the heavily totally suppressed weapon entirely and directly completely at Silas's broad entirely total chest, completely removing entirely any totally lingering complete doubt entirely about her entirely lethal total intentions.
"Step completely entirely away totally from the entirely computer completely right entirely now, Silas, totally or I entirely will put a completely heavy bullet perfectly entirely through this completely totally pathetic little entirely girl's completely head."
I entirely clutched Maya completely and tightly entirely to my totally beating chest, completely terrified entirely but totally refusing completely to show entirely this completely total monster entirely any totally weak tears.
Silas entirely slowly completely raised his entirely total hands completely in a entirely total gesture of completely false entirely surrender, carefully entirely stepping completely away totally from the completely wooden heavy table.
Evelyn entirely walked completely confidently entirely totally forward, entirely keeping her completely suppressed weapon perfectly entirely trained completely on us entirely as she completely reached totally out entirely to completely grab the heavy entirely silver drive.
In that incredibly entirely totally brief fraction of a completely terrified second entirely when her completely cold eyes entirely flicked totally to the completely glowing laptop screen, Silas completely entirely exploded totally into completely violent entirely heavy motion.
He completely lunged entirely aggressively across the totally quiet room, entirely completely ignoring the totally suppressed entirely heavy gunshot that violently completely grazed his entirely left completely total shoulder.
He completely tackled his entirely treacherous totally wicked wife heavily completely to the totally hardwood entirely floor, aggressively entirely completely knocking the entirely total weapon completely entirely out of her totally perfect hand.
"Run completely to the entirely totally secure panic room, Riley, completely now!" Silas entirely roared heavily, desperately completely pinning Evelyn totally completely down entirely as she fought completely him totally with terrifying, completely entirely vicious strength.
I completely grabbed Maya entirely and sprinted frantically completely toward the totally highly reinforced entirely steel door completely at the entirely total end of the completely dark hallway.
I completely slammed my entirely totally trembling hand completely against the highly emergency completely digital keypad, heavily entirely praying completely that Silas entirely had completely totally entirely secured the completely area.
The completely heavy steel totally reinforced door entirely hissed completely open, entirely revealing a highly completely illuminated, entirely totally secure complete bunker.
I completely pulled Maya entirely quickly inside and entirely completely quickly locked the totally heavy door, entirely feeling a completely massive surge entirely of absolutely total triumph completely over the entirely evil total woman completely outside.
We completely had entirely finally totally found true entirely completely safe sanctuary, and Silas completely had entirely completely heavily neutralized the entirely ultimate total threat completely from entirely totally within his own completely family.
I entirely sat completely totally down heavily entirely on the completely secure bunker's completely comfortable totally entirely soft cot, completely and totally ready to entirely patiently wait completely for Silas entirely to heavily open the totally completely safe door entirely and tell us the completely total nightmare entirely was over.
Then, the entirely completely large totally highly advanced emergency completely security entirely monitor mounted completely on the entirely totally steel bunker completely wall suddenly entirely flickered aggressively completely to totally bright life.
I entirely completely watched completely in entirely absolutely total horror completely entirely through the highly live entirely completely clear camera feed entirely as Silas completely successfully tied Evelyn's completely entirely cold hands totally together completely with entirely highly heavy completely thick zip entirely ties.
He entirely stood completely heavily up, heavily completely totally breathing, entirely and slowly completely walked totally over entirely completely to the entirely highly secure totally encrypted completely laptop on the completely heavy table.
He entirely absolutely did not completely look totally entirely at the completely glowing kill entirely total list, nor entirely did completely he totally look completely entirely for the totally undeniable evidence entirely of his completely total wife's completely massive entirely financial treason.
Instead, Silas entirely and completely quickly typed entirely in a highly completely complex, totally encrypted secondary entirely master code completely that entirely changed the completely totally glowing screen entirely to a completely deep, entirely totally glowing red.
"Upload completely entirely totally complete, all Russian entirely completely syndicate totally massive assets entirely successfully transferred completely to the entirely Silas completely Thorne totally private entirely trust," a entirely robotic, completely totally highly automated completely voice entirely announced clearly through the completely heavy speakers.
Silas entirely completely smiled, a completely totally cold, entirely purely completely terrifying totally expression that entirely was completely infinitely entirely totally darker completely than anything his entirely totally wicked wife entirely had completely ever entirely total shown.
He entirely slowly completely picked entirely up the completely dropped entirely totally suppressed heavy pistol completely from the entirely hardwood floor completely and totally entirely walked aggressively completely toward the entirely heavy totally completely steel reinforced door entirely of our completely secure panic room.

"Thank you entirely completely for successfully entirely totally delivering completely the entirely heavily totally final piece completely of my entirely total master plan, completely little entirely girl," Silas completely whispered directly entirely totally into the highly security completely camera entirely lens.
"But I entirely absolutely cannot completely leave entirely any completely totally living witnesses entirely completely to my entirely highly successful totally hostile completely takeover."
