Chapter 5 - The Firefight

"Get down!" Julian roared, tackling Arthur behind the solid steel chassis of a vintage Mustang.
Three men in tactical gear advanced into the garage, moving with military precision.
Julian didn't hesitate. He rolled out from behind the car, firing twice. The lead mercenary dropped, a bullet directly through his visor. The other two returned fire, pinning Julian down behind a toolbox.
"I don't know how to use this!" Arthur panicked, looking at the gun Julian had given him.
"Point and pull the trigger!" Julian yelled.
Arthur closed his eyes, stood up from behind the Mustang, and fired blindly. Miraculously, one of the bullets caught a mercenary in the shoulder, throwing off his aim just long enough for Julian to stand up and finish the job with a lethal double-tap.
The garage fell dead silent, save for the hiss of a punctured tire.

Arthur stared at the bodies on the floor, his hands shaking violently. He looked at Julian, the reality of his bloodline finally setting in.
"Okay," Arthur breathed heavily, his eyes hardening. "How do we destroy her?"
