Chapter 10 - The Last Secret
The severe-looking lawyer steps out of the limousine and adjusts his expensive silk tie.
He motions for the reunited family to sit on the stone benches outside the hospital entrance.
Arthur holds Helena's hand tightly, feeling incredibly protective after everything they have survived.
"Helena's father, the late billionaire Charles Vance, was completely heartbroken when she vanished," the lawyer begins.
"He spent millions of dollars trying to find her before his unfortunate passing five years ago," he explains.
Helena looks down at her lap, tears welling up as she remembers her beloved father.
"Before he died, he placed his entire massive fortune into a blind trust," the lawyer continues.
"The trust was designed to release billions of dollars only if Helena or her direct heirs were ever found alive," he reveals.
Arthur and the boys gasp in sheer shock at the staggering amount of money mentioned.
"Because Victoria forged documents to hide Helena's existence, the trust remained permanently locked," the lawyer states.
"However, the federal raid on Victoria's estate uncovered the original, authentic birth certificates of Leo and Sam," he smiles.
The lawyer opens his locked briefcase and hands a thick stack of legal documents to Helena.
"You are now the sole owner of the Vance Global Corporation and a personal fortune of ten billion dollars," the lawyer announces proudly.
Helena covers her mouth with her hands, completely overwhelmed by the unbelievable news.
She went from being an abused, terrified maid to one of the wealthiest women on the entire planet.
A few months later, the family is living in a brand-new, breathtaking mansion overlooking the ocean.
Victoria has been officially sentenced to life in a maximum-security prison without the possibility of parole.

A private courier suddenly walks up the driveway and hands a sealed envelope directly to Helena.
Helena smiles, assuming it is just another congratulatory letter from a business partner.
She opens the envelope and pulls out a single, chilling photograph of herself taken from the bushes just moments ago.
